So my morals and ethics went into overdrive this weekend. I had purchased a new winter blanket for Snipes a few weeks ago. This wasn't a purchase I did lightly as the blanket I wanted was quite expensive. The store didn't have the size I needed in stock (ummm... "beast" sized was what I needed), so they ordered one for me which would be delivered via Fed-Ex to the house. I received the blanket early last week, but haven't been able to go see if it fits Snipes yet.
This weekend, I came home on Saturday to another box sitting on the front porch. The store ended up mistakenly sending me a second blanket. So, after I verified that I was not doubly charged, I did the right thing and called the company up and will be sending the second blanket back.
I got a 'thanks for your honesty,' which is nice. Sure would have been kind cool to have a second blanket laying around, though. But at least I can sleep at night knowing I did the right thing.
Let me try this again. You have been brought up to know right from wrong and we all try to do that which is wright. I am so pleased with you doing that which is right.
